About Blue Bishops
Blue Bishops have served a decade and a half of hard-hitting blues/rock numbers to a dedicated, faithful following. This band comprises a bunch of players who, between them, have worked with household names and global stars galore. The music is crafted, exciting, deep-rooted and ballsy, with enough early blues and enough late acid rock to turn on everyone at the gigs. The album DEEP has the highly rated 9/10 review from 'Blues in Britain' and was nominated as one of the best albums of 2002. A live album is in the final throes of mixdown, and will be ready in the next few weeks. Martin Turner has left to try his hand with the Wishbone Ash project that's been teasing him for so many years - best of luck from the band ! He is replaced by the legendary Jim Rodford - welcome, geezer ! Welcome, too, to Russ Rodford, who stands in for his much-in-demand dad - does a bloody good job 'n all !
